Summer Concerts – Tribute Weekend!!

The Downtown Summer Concert Series continues this weekend with a set of tribute bands.

Saturday, take a trip back to the fab ’60s and groovy ’70s with The Penrose Lane Band. They invite you to “enjoy the best music ever created, lovingly and authentically performed by the lads.” Local musicians Randy Kaping, Richard Easton, Ralph van Duers, and Danny Witherow have been playing together for years, and their concerts are always a great time!

Sunday, grab your Hawaiian shirt and straw hat, and head down to the Plaza to see Nuketown Cowboys pay homage to Jimmy Buffett! The Downtown Foundation presents weekend concerts, all summer long, on Land Title Plaza at First & Main. Thanks to generous funding from Banner Bank, we are able to hire local & regional bands to play between 4:00 – 7:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday beginning June 2nd and continuing through August 26th. The concerts are free for anyone and everyone to enjoy, with seating provided along with plenty of shade. The Plaza is easy strolling distance to shops and restaurants – grab an ice cream cone or cool drink and enjoy the sounds of summer downtown!
