Be Part of the Sesquicentennial!

ArtWalla invites the public of all ages to be a part of choosing the Sesquicentennial Public Art Installation.  The three semi-finalists – Brad Rude, Wayne Chabre and Squire Broel – are working hard to create a scale model of their proposals and the public actually gets to vote for their favorite.  The final selection will be made factoring in the public feedback! On May 18, a Meet the Artist at Seven Hills Winery event will give all interested an  opportunity to chat with the artists and vote. Then, May 19 through May 31 the three proposals from each artist will be on display at the Public Library. Community members of all ages are encouraged to visit the Library, cast a vote and become part of this important celebration of Walla Walla’s 150th birthday!  Visit ArtWalla on Facebook for more information.
